The full note

Hey,

It can be hard to ask for help when you’re used to being the person who figures things out.

You might feel like you should already know what to do.

Or worry that explaining what’s going on will make it someone else’s problem.

So you keep it to yourself and try to work through it alone.

There are people who would want to know that you’re having a hard time.

Someone you trust may be able to listen, offer a different perspective, or share a task that’s been weighing on you.

You can be clear about what would help.

Sometimes it’s advice.

Sometimes it’s a little practical support.

Sometimes you just need to say something out loud to someone who cares.

This week, if something feels heavy, consider making one specific request of someone you trust.

“Could I talk this through with you?” is enough to start.

You’re allowed to make room for support while you’re learning how to move forward.

Have a great week. Let’s keep building.
