“Discipline = Freedom”

JD Analitico is a Latin American Singer/Songwriter and Music Producer out of Miami, FL. He’s also the host of the Youtube Series #AnaliticoDaily, a docu-series highlighting the up’s and downs and what is like to be an indie artist in today’s digital age.

A skilled athlete since early childhood and eventually becoming a Pro at basketball, Analitico never picked up an instrument to honed and further develop his musical skills while in High School, as he devoted most of his time and efforts to playing sports, but he did develop an affinity for one instrument in particular which he would later learn in the years following his high school graduation.

Childhood

Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and raised in New York City, Christian Diaz, known artistically as JD “Analitico”, discovered music and his love for the art at a very young age. As a young kid he primarily played sports but he always looked forward to the opportunity to listen to his favorite songs and music artists while jamming away on any available pots and pans in his Family Home.

Musical Beginnings

In 2002 he graduated from the University of St. John’s in Queens, NY where he majored in Hospitality Management. Since his years in high school, Analitico was always intrigued by the sounds of the piano and it was during his college years that he started to learn the instrument and began studying music theory.

In 2003 he was introduced to the Fruity Loops DAW where he immediately began to experiment with the various sounds and synths and how it all came together to create a music track. By 2005 he had upgraded to the more advanced Logic DAW and has since created numerous tracks by combining his knowledge of the piano and music theory with the power of a DAW.

In late 2012 he partnered with his long time friend and artist Josue Cedeño, known artistically as Zonambulo, and created and founded the Independent Record Label named Insomnio Music Records, La Compañia.
